In January 2017, professional film composer and Sleepy Hollow resident Kinny Landrum visited the middle school.
Mr. Landrum, who has written for television shows, films and commercials, worked with 8th graders taking the new music technology course and led an introduction to film scoring.
Students then began their short pixar trailer film scores in class.
