We are thrilled and honored to invite you to support the Foundation for the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns 2024 Spring Benefit. As a contributor to one of the largest community events of the year, your business and contribution will have a direct impact on the lives of the 2500 students in our district.
The annual tradition of celebrating our cause continues with The Foundation’s “Starry Night” on Saturday, April 27th at The Tarrytown House Estate at 49 E. Sunnyside Lane in Tarrytown. The evening will include a fabulous assortment of exciting silent and live auction items, delicious food and drinks, a live DJ, a photo booth, and much more. This year, we’re proud to be commemorating the 30th anniversary of our organization! Over the past three decades, The Foundation has grown exponentially in its scope and impact, and that’s all thanks to our unique and wonderful TUFSD community. Our work is as diverse and dynamic as our unique student body – from college visits for first generation students at SHHS to yoga classes at WI to STEM projects, cultural assemblies, author visits, special education initiatives, and anti-bullying programming, and so much more. We hope to continue this growth and the role that we play in Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow for another 30 years and beyond.
The silent auction component of our benefit drives our fundraising success. We rely on donations from families and businesses like yours, and our 300+ party-goers look forward to bidding on the wonderful items you donate. This year, we will be welcoming a return to paper bidding in order to ensure that this element of our event receives maximum attention and focus from our guests (not to mention a little extra drama). Our new bidding platform will provide a visually appealing preview of each auction lot, allowing us to make the most of promotions in advance of the gala.
The Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3), was established in 1993 to encourage and enhance academics, athletics, technology and the arts for all students in our schools. Funds raised are distributed as grants to teachers for innovative programs in addition to financing larger, district-wide programs aimed at inspiring and engaging ALL of our students in the categories of Wellness, STEAM, Early Childhood Literacy, Arts & Culture, and College Readiness. We are committed to enriching learning experiences so that every student can excel.
As an auction donor, you will receive:
Visibility in advance of the event through the GiveSmart bidding platform, which we will use to preview our offerings and promote through e-blasts and social media campaigns.
Company logo placement and direct link to your website from GiveSmart and the Foundation website (for gifts valued over $250)
Exposure to over 2,500 families and friends who are part of our community through promotional emails and social media posts leading up to the event
Tax deduction for the estimated value of your donation(s). The Foundation for the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our tax ID# is 13-3749969.
Please download the donation form on this page, or click below for an online version of the form. If you would like to be an auction donor, we ask that you return your form by Thursday, March 21st.
