BRONX ZOO FIELD TRIP
In the spring of 2016, the Foundation funded a field trip for the entire first grade to the Bronx Zoo,
To tie in with their animal unit, the students were able to do some hands-on research while enjoying a wonderful day out.
Back at Morse, the children wrote reports about the animals they had seen, using facts they had learned on their trip to the zoo.
This experience was so popular with both teachers and students, that we expect to be repeating it in the spring of 2017, as one of the Foundation's InstaGrants.
